Palaces and mansions in Mazovia: Kamion near Puszcza Mariańska

Originally an estate of the Potocki family in the 18th century. the present manor house in neoclassical style was built at the beginning of the 20th century for the Wojciechowski family, after the earlier manor house was destroyed in the First World War. It remained one of the few "manor house projects" of the Warsaw architect and art professor Juliusz Kłos.

It is a plastered brick building with Tuscan portico, two side extensions and pronounced side risalites on the park side. The building is surrounded by several ponds. Inside there are still preserved elements of the construction period, until the 90s Kamion served as a school. At present (2022) the palace in Kamion is for sale.

Regionally it is also known as "Pałac Wojciechowskich". Kamion is located on the voivodeship road 719, southeast of Skierniewiece, just before Żyrardów and about 60 km from Warsaw.
