Mysterious Abandoned Houses

Many people are fascinated by old abandoned houses, especially if they are abandoned historic properties like castles, mansions or stately homes.

Buzzwords such as Lost Places or Abandoned have become popular terms on the Internet in recent years. The boom and thereby emerging tourism on private properties is annoying for owners of such properties, however, especially because such photos spread rapidly and can hardly be removed from the Internet afterwards. Our tip: Even if owners have little understanding for the taking of such photos - with a legitimate, profound interest, the attempt to obtain permission to photograph can sometimes be successful.

Otherwise, you should respect private property and go to other places. After all, in many countries it is possible to find exciting motifs that are covered by Panorama freedom and can usually be disseminated without objection, such as the house in Warsaw shown here, which was part of an officers' settlement at Fort Bema.

We have another suggestion: It is at least as fascinating to acquire such a house and make it usable and habitable again.
